Baseball Recap: Brewer's Victory on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Brewer won against Austin last Monday with ten runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Thursday. The Brewer Patriots didn't even let the Clements Colts on the board, marking the Brewer Patriots' second-straight 10-0 shutout. While the Patriots didn't have the best season last year (they finished 5-23), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

The victory (which was Brewer's third in a row) raised their record to 6-2. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 11.7 runs. As for Clements, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-4 record this season.

Brewer has already played their next contest, a 12-1 defeat against Priceville on the 6th. As for Clements, they will face off against Sheffield at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Sheffield has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.14 runs per game on average), something Clements will no doubt try to take advantage of.
