After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Regents, West Memphis Christian was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They strolled past the French Camp Academy Panthers with points to spare, taking the game 28-14. The Black Knights' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

West Memphis Christian can attribute much of their success to Eli Ford, who rushed for 99 yards on only 11 carries.

Ford was just one part of a punishing run game: West Memphis Christian was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 366 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

Although French Camp Academy took the loss, they still got scores from Will Surrette and Cristian Demecio.

West Memphis Christian's victory bumped their record up to 2-4. As for French Camp Academy, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 0-6.

West Memphis Christian wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 41-8 loss against Central Hinds Academy on the 10th. As for French Camp Academy, they have also already played their next matchup, a 46-21 defeat against East Rankin Academy on the 10th.
