Jacksonville Christian Academy waltzed into their game on Thursday with seven straight wins... but they left with eight. They put the hurt on Fellowship Christian Academy with a sharp 3-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in August.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-17, 25-8.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Jacksonville Christian Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Selma Scott, who had 26 assists and four digs. Scott is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 25 or more in each of the last three games she's played. Violette Smith was another key player, getting 13 digs and one assist.

Jacksonville Christian Academy was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 17 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least ten aces in four consecutive contests.

Jacksonville Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 12-3. As for Fellowship Christian Academy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season.
