Baseball Game Preview: Battle Ground Academy Wildcats vs. Columbia Academy Bulldogs

For the second straight game, Battle Ground Academy will face off against Columbia Academy. The Wildcats will take on the Bulldogs at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Battle Ground Academy will bounce into Tuesday's game after beating Columbia Academy, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. The Wildcats walked away with a 5-1 victory over the Bulldogs on Monday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Wildcats.

For Columbia Academy's part, they saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Gunner Skelton, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Battle Ground Academy now has a winning record of 10-9. As for Columbia Academy, their defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 10-1 and their overall record down to 16-3.
