Softball Recap: Battery Creek's Losing Streak Snapped at Six Games

Battery Creek had to endure a six-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They walked away with a 7-4 win over the Bluffton Bobcats on Monday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Dolphins also won the last time the pair played back in March of 2024.

Autumn Franks was excellent, going 2-for-4 with three stolen bases, one run, and one RBI. That's the most stolen bases she has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was AaLiyah ELMORE, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

Battery Creek hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least five batters in four consecutive contests.

Battery Creek's record is now 5-8. As for Bluffton, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Battery Creek will venture away from home to take on Orangeburg-Wilkinson at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bluffton, they will challenge Hilton Head Island at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
