Volleyball Recap: Lima Senior Wins Going Away Against Upper Scioto Valley

Lima Senior won the last time they faced Upper Scioto Valley and things went their way on Saturday too. The Spartans were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Rams. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Spartans.

Lima Senior walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-21, 25-20.

Alisandra Vanmeter was the offensive standout of the contest as she had 11 digs and four assists. That's the most assists she has posted since back in October of 2024.

Lima Senior was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 14 aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Upper Scioto Valley only served eight aces.

The win got Lima Senior back to even at 2-2. As for Upper Scioto Valley, their loss was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-3.

Coming up, Lima Senior will head out to challenge Lima Central Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Upper Scioto Valley, they will be playing at home against Calvary Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
