Baseball Game Preview: Laconia Sachems vs. Plymouth Bobcats

Laconia is 1-6 against Plymouth since April of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Sachems will be playing in front of their home fans against the Bobcats at 4:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Laconia is headed into Friday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fifth straight game dating back to last season on Wednesday. They came up short against Bow, falling 10-0.

Meanwhile, Plymouth didn't have quite enough to beat Kingswood on Wednesday and fell 8-7. The Bobcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Plymouth saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cavan Sanborn, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-4. Another was Thomas Daigneault, who scored two runs while getting on base in two of his four plate appearances.

Laconia's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Plymouth, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.

Laconia couldn't quite get it done against Plymouth in their previous meeting back in May of 2024 as they fell 8-4. Can the Sachems avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
