Football Recap: North Florida Educational Institute Piles Up the Points Against KIPP Bold City + How To Watch

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask North Florida Educational Institute). They blew past the KIPP Bold City Greyhounds 50-6 on Friday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Fighting Eagles needed considering they were shut out in their previous matchup.

One reason for the win was North Florida Educational Institute's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for 12 sacks. Kayden Pinder led the group effort, picking up six of those sacks all by himself. Elijah Martin also set a new season-high mark in total tackles with eight.

North Florida Educational Institute moved to 2-3 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for KIPP Bold City, they are on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Coming up, North Florida Educational Institute will challenge Episcopal School of Jacksonville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Eagles' defense has only allowed 8.7 points per game this season, so the Fighting Eagles' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for KIPP Bold City, they will square off against Ridgeview at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
