Baseball Recap: Purnell Swett Wins Going Away Against Seventy-First

While Purnell Swett put up some runs on Wednesday, the same can't be said for Seventy-First. Purnell Swett was the clear victor by a 10-0 margin over Seventy-First. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Rams also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2024.

Conley Jacobs was a standout: he scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-2. Those two stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Chandon Sanderson, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-2.

Purnell Swett always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .548. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Seventy-First only posted an OBP of .118.

The win got Purnell Swett back to even at 6-6. As for Seventy-First, their record is now 3-8.
