Basketball Recap: North Central Comes Up Short

North Central lost against East Iberville back in February of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The North Central Hurricanes fell to the East Iberville Tigers 63-59. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Friday (56), the Hurricanes still had to take the loss.

Despite the loss, North Central still got an impressive performance from Christopher Clennon, who posted 22 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Malachi Joseph, who earned 13 points.

North Central dropped their record down to 13-20 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for East Iberville, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-14 record this season.

While North Central had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled on Tuesday.
