Softball Game Preview: Kenosha Tremper Trojans vs. Kenosha Bradford Red Devils

Kenosha Tremper is 1-6 against Kenosha Bradford since June of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Trojans will welcome the Red Devils at 4:30 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty run totals in their previous games.

Having struggled with four losses in a row, Kenosha Tremper turned things around against Westosha Central on Wednesday. They walked away with a 10-6 win over the Falcons. Considering the Trojans' hitters had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Mallory Meier was incredible, going 2-for-3 with four stolen bases and three runs. Another player making a difference was Finley Koziol, who went 1-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Kenosha Tremper kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since back in May of 2024.

Meanwhile, Kenosha Bradford put their dominant pitchers on display in the team's fourth consecutive shutout on Tuesday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand Racine Case a 15-0 shutout. The Red Devils might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matchups by seven runs or more this season.

Kenosha Bradford's victory was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 14-1. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.9 runs over those games. As for Kenosha Tremper, their victory bumped their record up to 4-6.
