Basketball Game Preview: South Summit Wildcats vs. Grantsville Cowboys

South Summit hasn't had much luck against Grantsville recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The two teams will face off at 1:20 p.m. without much rest, having both just played. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

South Summit heads in on the heels of a playoff match on Tuesday. They took a 45-37 hit to the loss column at the hands of Canyon View.

Meanwhile, Grantsville also suffered a loss in their last game, falling to Emery by a score of 56-47. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Cowboys came into the contest with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Utah basketball rankings (they are ranked sixth, while the Spartans are ranked 42nd).

Grantsville's loss dropped their record down to 24-2. As for South Summit, their defeat dropped their record down to 18-8.

South Summit was taken down by Grantsville 71-27 in their previous meeting back in January. That game was all but decided by halftime, at which point South Summit was down 44-12.
