Baseball Recap: Jensen Beach Comes Up Short

Jensen Beach was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They fell 4-0 to the American Heritage Stallions. The Falcons were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Stallions apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Peyton Baum was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he didn't allow a single earned run over five innings pitched. He has been consistent : he hasn't given up more than two walks in eight consecutive appearances.

Jensen Beach's defeat dropped their record down to 8-13. As for American Heritage, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-9.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Jensen Beach will take on Martin County at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Tigers will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Falcons surely won't give up without a fight. As for American Heritage, they will face off against Monarch at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
