Monterey is a perfect 9-0 against Block since February of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Wolves will head out to challenge the Bears at 5:00 p.m. Monterey has given up an average of 9.3 runs per game this season, but Monday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Monterey saw some tournament action on Saturday. They lost 12-2 to St. Thomas Aquinas. The Wolves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Thursday just wasn't the day for Block's offense. They came up short against St. Frederick on Thursday, falling 16-0. The loss continues a trend for the Bears in their meetings with the Warriors: they've now lost three in a row.

Block's defeat dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Monterey, their loss dropped their record down to 4-3.

Monterey got the 'W' in their previous meeting back in February against Block by a conclusive 16-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wolves since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
