Football Game Preview: Kettle Falls vs. Reardan

On Friday Kettle Falls take on Reardan at 7:00 PM. It might come down to the wire as the MaxPreps state rankings project a close matchup.

Kettle Falls fought the good fight in their overtime game last Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They were within striking distance but couldn't close the gap, as they fell 26-32 to Liberty Bell. Kettle Falls's defeat came about despite a quality game from senior Leo Clendennen, who rushed for 106 yards and 3 touchdowns. In fact, with 9 tackles Clendennen was a force on both sides of the ball.

Meanwhile, Reardan took the contest and then some with a 58-14 win over Davenport.

Reardan's victory lifted them to 1-1 while Kettle Falls's loss dropped them down to 0-2. We'll see if Reardan's success rolls on or if Kettle Falls are able to steal their positive momentum.
