Football Recap: Noxubee County Falls Short Against Ranked Louisville

Noxubee County faced Louisville in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Tigers fell 25-20 to the Wildcats. The Tigers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wildcats apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

When it comes to explaining why Noxubee County lost, don't look at Laderoun Mosely. Despite the final result, he rushed for 101 yards and one score on only 14 carries. Mosely is crushing it when it comes to rushing yards: he's rushed for at least 101 every time he's taken the field this season.

Louisville found their leader in sophomore Zaiden Jernigan, who rushed for 196 yards and a pair of TDs.
