Basketball Recap: Notre Dame Find Success

Notre Dame won the last time they faced Hundred and things went their way on Monday too. The Notre Dame Fighting Irish skirted past the Hundred Hornets 71-68.

Hundred's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Brayden Bartrug, who dropped a double-double with 19 points and 13 boards. The dominant performance also gave Bartrug a new career-high in assists (five). Colt Sandy was another key player, dropping a double-double with 15 points and ten rebounds.

The win got Notre Dame back to even at 10-10. As for Hundred, they dropped their record down to 5-13 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Notre Dame will venture away from home to take on Wheeling Central Catholic at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Hundred, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, an 87-76 victory against Wood County Christian on the 25th.
