Basketball Recap: Britton Deerfield Piles Up the Points Against Litchfield

There's no place like home for Britton Deerfield, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They blew past the Litchfield Terriers, posting a 74-25 win. The Patriots' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Ryan Good continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, going 12 for 15 on his way to 29 points in addition to five rebounds and four steals. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 17.8 points per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Keegan Bush, who posted four points along with eight steals and six assists.

The victory got Britton Deerfield back to even at 2-2. As for Litchfield, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.

Britton Deerfield will be playing in front of their home fans against Lenawee Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Lenawee Christian's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. As for Litchfield, they will head out on the road to square off against Camden-Frontier at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Litchfield is facing Camden-Frontier at the right time seeing as Camden-Frontier is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
