Stone Bridge is a perfect 5-0 against Riverside since March of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Bulldogs will face off against the Ram at 7:15 p.m. Riverside took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Stone Bridge, who comes in off a win.

While Stone Bridge's win against Potomac Falls wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Bulldogs' defense stepped up to hand the Panthers a 1-0 shutout on Thursday. Given Stone Bridge's advantage in MaxPreps' Virginia soccer rankings (they are ranked 56th, while Potomac Falls are ranked 225th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Riverside came up short against Independence on Thursday, falling 6-1. The loss continues a trend for Riverside in their meetings with Independence: they've now lost six in a row.

Stone Bridge's victory bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Riverside, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-3-2.

Stone Bridge came out on top in a nail-biter against Riverside when the teams last played back in April of 2024, sneaking past 1-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bulldogs since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
