Football Recap: West Orange Starts Season with Defeat at Home + How To Watch

West Orange unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They fell just short of the Shabazz Bulldogs by a score of 10-7 on Saturday. While the Mountaineers had to settle for second, they closed the game well in the third quarter, where they outscored the Bulldogs 7-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. West Orange will face off against Passaic County Tech at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Shabazz, they will welcome Lincoln at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The game will give the Bulldogs their first taste of in-conference action this season.
