After three games on the road, Woodruff is heading back home. They will host the Union County Yellowjackets at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Woodruff knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 31 points or more in their past five matchups -- so hopefully Union County likes a good challenge.

Woodruff will bounce into Friday's game after beating Chapman, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. Woodruff blew past Chapman 44-10 on Friday. The result was nothing new for the Wolverines, who have now won three matches by 23 points or more so far this season.

Despite the loss, Union County saw an underclassman step up: freshman Noah Tucker rushed for 111 yards and two touchdowns on only 11 carries.

Even though they lost, Union County was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 243 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 154 rushing yards in four consecutive contests.
