Volleyball Recap: Cole Valley Christian Falls Short Against Ranked Kuna

Cole Valley Christian faced Kuna in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Chargers took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Kavemen. The Chargers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Cole Valley Christian was not able to win a set, but it sure wasn't from a lack of trying: every set was decided by three points or less. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 25-22.

Among those leading the charge was Ruby Rausch, who had eight digs and three aces. Those three aces gave her a new career-high.

Cole Valley Christian now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Kuna, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Cole Valley Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Borah on the 23rd. As for Kuna, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Mountain View on the 23rd.
