Basketball Recap: Cass Tech Comes Up Short

Cass Tech was the 72-70 winner over Renaissance when they last played one another back in February, but their luck changed this time around. The Cass Tech Technicians took a blow against the Renaissance Phoenix on Tuesday, falling 95-65.

Cass Tech's loss ended a five-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 2-2. As for Renaissance, with the win, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-4.

Cass Tech will look to defend their home court on Friday against Denby at 7:00 p.m. As for Renaissance, they will head out to square off against Mumford at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Renaissance knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past six matches -- so hopefully Mumford likes a good challenge.
