Baseball Recap: Academy for College and Career Exploration Extends Winning Streak to Three

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Academy for College and Career Exploration had no problem doing just that on Wednesday. They walked away with an 8-4 victory over the Douglass Mighty Ducks. The win was familiar territory for Academy for College and Career Exploration, who have now won three matchups in a row.

Treasure Mintz was excellent, getting on base in two of his three plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs. Another player making a difference was Kennard Swinton, who went 1-for-2 with three stolen bases.

Academy for College and Career Exploration now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Douglass, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-3.
