Baseball Recap: Providence Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Providence Christian Academy's offense. They fell just short of the Gallatin Green Wave by a score of 1-0 on Tuesday. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the LIONS' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Providence Christian Academy has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-6-1 record this season. Even worse, they were so close so many times: the losses came by an average of only 1.33 runs. Gallatin pushed their record up to 6-4 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

Providence Christian Academy wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 1-0 win against Briarcrest Christian on the 27th. As for Gallatin, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Northeast at 6:30 p.m.
