Lincoln is 3-0 against Central Crossing since February of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Lincoln Lions will square off against the Central Crossing Comets at 7:00 p.m. Lincoln will be strutting in after a win while Central Crossing will be coming in after a loss.

Lincoln took a loss when they played away from home on Saturday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Sunday. They snuck past Badin with a 60-54 victory.

Meanwhile, Central Crossing was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They fell 63-51 to Liberty Union. While the Comets didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Lions 16-12 in the first quarter.

Lincoln's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-5. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.8 points per game. As for Central Crossing, their loss dropped their record down to 6-10.

Lincoln was able to grind out a solid victory over Central Crossing in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, winning 67-56. The rematch might be a little tougher for Lincoln since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
