Basketball Recap: Collinsville Comes Up Short

Collinsville lost against Petrolia back in December of 2019 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Collinsville Pirates took a 66-53 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Petrolia Pirates.

Collinsville's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Petrolia, their win ended a three-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-5.

Collinsville wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 63-38 victory against Trenton on the 13th. Petrolia will take on Savoy in a holiday battle at at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Petrolia is facing Savoy at the right time seeing as Savoy is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
