The West Henderson Falcons will head out on the road to challenge the Franklin Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. West Henderson is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.6 goals per game this season.

West Henderson's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. They blew past North Henderson 3-0. Given West Henderson's advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 66th, while North Henderson are ranked 328th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

West Henderson hit North Henderson with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Lauren Clonch, Rhylie Druskis, and Reagan Simons.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Franklin, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They had just enough and edged out East Henderson 1-0 on Monday.

West Henderson is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-2-2 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 34 goals over those eight matches. As for Franklin, their win bumped their record up to 3-6-1.

West Henderson took their victory against Franklin when the teams last played back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 9-0 score. Do the Falcons have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Panthers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
