Baseball Recap: Centaurus Takes a Loss

Centaurus lost against Erie back in April of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. Centaurus fell 10-5 to Erie. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Will Pauletto was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI. That's the most hits he has posted since back in April of 2024. Ben Sehnert was another key player, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two RBI and one double.

Centaurus now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Erie, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-2.

Coming up, Centaurus will head out to face off against Holy Family at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Erie, they will square off against Greeley West at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Greeley West has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.78 runs per game on average), something Erie will no doubt try to take advantage of.
