Softball Recap: Scranton Prep Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Scranton Prep's offense. They came up short against the Abington Heights Comets on Friday, falling 11-0.

Scranton Prep dropped their record down to 0-11-1 with the loss, which was their sixth straight at home. As for Abington Heights, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-1-1 record this season.

Scranton Prep will be playing in front of their home fans against Valley View at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Cavaliers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Cougars have averaged an impressive 8.4 runs per game this season. As for Abington Heights, they have already played their next game, a 12-0 victory against Canandaigua Academy on the 2nd.
