Volleyball Recap: Pacifica Christian Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Pacifica Christian waltzed into their game on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the University Trojans by a score of 3-1. This was a revenge game for the Tritons: when they faced off against the Trojans back in August, they had to take a 2-0 loss.

Pacifica Christian had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 20-25, 25-22, 25-20, 25-21.

Pacifica Christian had a senior duo take command as Addie Roberson had 17 digs, three aces, and one block and Emery Heal had 22 digs and two aces. Roberson also set a new season-high mark in assists with 24.

Pacifica Christian's victory bumped their record up to 8-4. As for University, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pacifica Christian will welcome Costa Mesa at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for University, they will square off against Capistrano Valley at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday.
