Volleyball Recap: Lincoln Takes a Loss

Lincoln lost against Adrian back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Railsplitters took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Maples.

Defeat or not, Lincoln got some senior leadership from Rachel Pomorski and Brooklyn Troy. Pomorski had 11 digs and one assist, while Troy had seven digs and two aces. Troy is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in each of the last seven games she's played.

Lincoln has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-18 record this season. As for Adrian, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 13-18-1 record this season.

Lincoln has already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Ypsilanti on the 25th. As for Adrian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Chelsea on the 25th.
