Volleyball Recap: United Takes a Loss + How To Watch

United came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 3-0 to the Purchase Line Red Dragons. If the Lions were looking for revenge after losing 3-1 to the Red Dragons when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-18, 25-17.

Despite the loss, United still got an impressive performance from Emma Harasty, who had 22 digs. Harasty has been hot recently, having posted 22 or more digs the last three times she's played.

United has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-12-1 record this season. As for Purchase Line, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-2.

United didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Penns Manor on the 25th. As for Purchase Line, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-2 loss against Northern Cambria on the 25th.
