Farmington posted their closest victory since April 16th on Thursday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the North County Raiders, sneaking past 3-1. The win continues a trend for the Knights in their matchups with the Raiders: they've now won five in a row.

The team relied heavily on Nolan Blankenship, who went 1-for-2 with two runs and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of AJ Robbins, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Farmington's record now sits at 15-7. As for North County, their loss dropped their record down to 18-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Farmington will face off against Festus at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Tigers' pitching crew has only allowed 2.9 runs per game this season, so the Knights' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for North County, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Valle Catholic at 4:30 p.m. on the 12th.
