After flying high against Shelbyville Central on Tuesday, Central Magnet came back down to earth. Central Magnet took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Franklin County Rebels on Thursday. Central Magnet has struggled against Franklin County recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Central Magnet's goal came courtesy of Madisen Stanley, who's now up to 15 this season.

Central Magnet's defeat dropped their record down to 13-2-1. As for Franklin County, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-5-1 record this season.
