Soccer Recap: Gretna Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Win

Elkhorn North kept up with Gretna until halftime on Thursday, but afterwards: not so much. The Dragons were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Wolves. Gretna were shut out 1-0 the last time they took on Elkhorn North, so Gretna were just returning the favor.

Gretna hit Elkhorn North with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Alex Sowinski, Nate Thiellen, and Brady Cerone.

The win (which was Gretna's fourth in a row) raised their record to 8-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 21 goals over those four matchups. As for Elkhorn North, the loss snapped their winning streak at four matches and leaves them with a 7-2 record.
