Soccer Recap: St. James Takes a Loss

St. James was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the West Ashley Wildcats, falling 5-1. If the Sharks were looking for revenge after losing 3-1 to the Wildcats when the teams met back in March of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

St. James' goal came courtesy of Mason Divirgilio, who's now up to two this season.

St. James now has a losing record of 2-3. As for West Ashley, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Looking ahead, St. James will square off against Socastee at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for West Ashley, they will challenge Porter-Gaud at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
