Football Preview: Freehold Township Patriots vs. Freehold Boro Colonials        
        
		
             The Freehold Township Patriots will venture away from home to  challenge the Freehold Boro Colonials  at 4:00  p.m.  on Monday. Freehold Township is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 28.4  points per game  this season.
 Freehold Township took a loss when they played away from home  on Saturday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed  on Thursday. They walked away with  a   32-20  win over Freehold Boro. Given the Patriots' advantage  in MaxPreps' New Jersey football rankings  (they are ranked 95th, while the Colonials are ranked 257th), the result  wasn't entirely unexpected.
  Nick Cardone was  his usual excellent self, throwing for 331 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 10.7 yards per attempt, and also punching in two rushing scores.  Justin Tamai helped  Cardone out on the ground, rushing for 84 yards and a touchdown, while also picking up 32 receiving yards.
 Freehold Township didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut  Johnathan Kokotis.
 Freehold Township is  on a roll lately: they've  won four of their last five contests,  which provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record  this season. As for Freehold Boro,  they are  on  a  six-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 1-6.
