Meanwhile, Malden played a tough contest on Thursday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were beaten by Northeast Metro RVT 42-14. The Golden Tornados were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 28-6.

Lynn Classical's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Malden, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Lynn Classical skirted past Malden 30-28 in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. Will the Rams repeat their success, or do the Golden Tornados have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
