Basketball Recap: Hoquiam's Win Ends Five-Game Losing Streak at Home

Hoquiam came into Tuesday's matchup having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They secured a 62-57 W over the Tenino Beavers on Tuesday. This was a revenge game for the Grizzlies: when they faced off against the Beavers on January 10th, they had to take a 57-41 defeat.

Hoquiam's win ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-12. As for Tenino, the loss snapped their winning streak at five games and leaves them with a 7-12 record.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hoquiam will head out to challenge Elma at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Elma is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 53.3 points per game this season. As for Tenino, they will head out on the road to square off against Rochester at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday. Tenino is facing Rochester at the right time seeing as Rochester is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
