Baseball Recap: Tipton Christian Academy Comes Up Short

After flying high against Ripley on Monday, Tipton Christian Academy came back down to earth. Tipton Christian Academy fell just short of Ripley by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday. The Eagles were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Tigers earlier this season, when they won 17-11.

Tipton Christian Academy has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-11 record this season. Ripley's victory bumped their record up to 2-5.

Looking ahead, Tipton Christian Academy will challenge Varsity Opponent at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Ripley, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Ripley Tigers face off against Bolton Wildcats at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
