Soccer Game Preview: West Hills vs. Granite Hills

The West Hills Wolf Pack will take on the Granite Hills Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. West Hills will be strutting in after a victory while Granite Hills will be coming in after a defeat.

Granite Hills better have a healthy lead at halftime, because if last week is any indication, that's when West Hills really get things going. West Hills' defense stepped up to hand El Capitan a 3-0 shutout on Wednesday. Considering the Wolf Pack have won three contests by more than two goals this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, Granite Hills lost 4-1 to Grossmont on Wednesday. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

West Hills' win bumped their record up to 5-2-3. As for Granite Hills, they now have a losing record at 5-6-2.

West Hills beat Granite Hills by a goal in their previous matchup back in February of 2022, winning 2-1. Will West Hills repeat their success, or does Granite Hills have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
