Baseball Game Preview: Oakbrook Prep Knights vs. Blacksburg Wildcats

The Oakbrook Prep Knights will head out on the road to challenge the Blacksburg Wildcats at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Oakbrook Prep is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 11.4 runs per game this season.

Oakbrook Prep will roll into the matchup after a wild two-game stretch: they didn't score any runs on Thursday, then bounced right back against Berea on Monday. The Knights came out on top against the Bulldogs by a score of 16-0 (the very same score they lost by in their prior game). Meanwhile, Blacksburg lost 7-1 to Blue Ridge on Wednesday. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Oakbrook Prep's victory bumped their record up to 16-3-1. As for Blacksburg, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-16.
