Softball Game Preview: Prairie Heights Panthers vs. Fort Wayne Bishop Luers Knights

For the second straight game, Prairie Heights will face off against Fort Wayne Bishop Luers. The Panthers will look to defend their home field on Saturday against the Knights at 12:00 p.m. Prairie Heights is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak.

Prairie Heights had taken Fort Wayne Bishop Luers down for four straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Saturday. The Panthers fell 6-2 to the Knights. That's two games in a row now that the Panthers have lost by exactly four runs.

For Fort Wayne Bishop Luers' part, Addison Haney was excellent, going 3-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Bella Petras, who went 3-for-4 with three RBI.

With the win, Fort Wayne Bishop Luers broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 10-14. As for Prairie Heights, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-17.
