Basketball Recap: Ripley Takes a Loss

Ripley played a tough contest on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were beaten by the Westview Chargers 61-28. The defeat continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Chargers: they've now lost four in a row.

Leading Westview to victory were Maddie Gray and Ashlee Brent. Gray posted 13 points, while Brent earned 12 points.

Ripley's loss dropped their record down to 10-15. As for Westview, the victory was the 18th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 23-1.

Ripley has already played their next game, a 42-39 win against Milan on the 17th. As for Westview, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, an 84-53 victory against Dresden on the 13th.
