Volleyball Recap: Grand Junction Wins Going Away Against Moffat County

Grand Junction not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since August 26th (when they won 3-0). Everything went their way against the Moffat County Bulldogs as they made off with a 3-0 win. The Tigers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Bulldogs, too.

One reason for the win was Grand Junction's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-10, 25-9.

Their offense was headlined by Sienna Ludlam and Hadyn Bunnell, who picked up nine kills apiece. They got some help from Haleigh Blaylock and her 15 assists. Norah Gruwell controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Grand Junction's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-12. As for Moffat County, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-16.

Grand Junction wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Montrose on the 23rd. As for Moffat County, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Gunnison on the 25th.
