Baseball Recap: Roosevelt Comes Up Short

Roosevelt was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 6-5 heartbreaker at the hands of the Gorton Wolves. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Sharks of the 5-3 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Roosevelt's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Gorton, their victory bumped their record up to 3-1-2.

While Roosevelt had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
