Wilson had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They were the clear victors by a 6-1 margin over the North Tonawanda Lumberjacks on Friday. That's more bragging rights for Wilson, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Wilson and North Tonawanda will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next games. The next time the Lakemen see the pitch they'll take on Medina at 7:00 p.m. on September 18. As for North Tonawanda, their break will end when they face Lewiston-Porter at 7:00 p.m. on September 11.
