Basketball Recap: Michael Davtian Key Part of Team Effort in Cougars Win

Lake Balboa College Prep's game on Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 52-35 victory over the Bert Corona Charter Knights. The Cougars pushed the score to 42-21 by the end of the third, a deficit the Knights cut but never quite recovered from.

Lake Balboa College Prep's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Michael Davtian led the charge by putting up 15 points. Those 15 points gave Davtian a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Nic Isakhanyan, who posted 11 points and five boards.
