Baseball Game Preview: St. Clair Saints vs. Grosse Pointe South Blue Devils

For the second straight game, St. Clair will face off against Grosse Pointe South. The Saints will head out on the road to take on the Blue Devils at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.

St. Clair fell victim to Grosse Pointe South and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They came up short against the Blue Devils, falling 6-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Saints in their meetings with the Blue Devils: they've now lost three in a row.

For Grosse Pointe South's part, the result came thanks to Charlie Michelotti's shutout, as he gave up just four hits and racked up seven Ks. Michelotti has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.
